Education & Outreach Programs

In addition to providing our community with spectacular orchestra concerts, the El Paso Symphony Orchestra (EPSO) is dedicated to providing our community with high-quality education and outreach programs. Over one-fourth of the EPSO operating budget is devoted to producing a variety of performances that entertain and educate the residents of our city. These programs are funded by private and corporate donations. We sincerely appreciate and thank all contributors and volunteers, whose generous support make these possible. To make a donation or for more information on these programs, please contact the El Paso Symphony at (915) 532-3776.

Young People's Concerts

Presented for over 85 years, thousands of 5th grade students attend our free performances in the Abraham Chavez Theatre each year. For the last 12 years, EPSO has partnered with Carnegie Hall's Link Up program.  Link Up allows students to join the orchestra in this highly participatory program, in which they learn to sing and play an instrument in the classroom and perform with EPSO from their seats at a culminating concert in the Abraham Chavez Theatre.

In The Schools

EPSO chamber ensembles perform dozens of concerts in area schools throughout the year.

Senior Programs

Our Symphony Seniors program outreach targets low-income elderly residents, allowing them to attend EPSO concerts for free.
